Bonfire Night is officially on Tuesday 5th November 2019 but this year you’ll find the main firework displays are taking place on Saturday 2 November however some local schools are running them during the week of the 4th November as well.
Here’s my list of some of the local (to Walton on Thames) displays… it’s not exhaustive and if I’ve missed a local one please let me know and I’ll add to the list!

Burhill School Fireworks, Friday 8th November
The fabulous event will celebrate 50 years since man first walked on the moon’

Other than the main event, fireworks, you’ll find cake stalls, a hog roast, laser tag a bar and lots more.
Gates open at 5pm fireworks at 6.45pm
This is a really child-friendly event and a fantastic one for local families.
Ripley Bonfire 2019, Saturday 26th October
As well a bonfire and firework display there is a funfair, lots of food on offer and a bar. This is a afternoon to evening event with the Funfair starting at 1pm, bar from 4pm, hog roast from 6pm, stalls and a torchlight procession at 7.10pm, bonfire lit at 7.30pm, fireworks at 8pm and live music at 8.20pm.
Cleves fireworks, Sunday 3rd November
Cleves school will be hosting their popular fireworks on the 3rd November. You’ll find food stalls, a bar, a Fun Fair and a DJ.
Time: Gates open at 5.30pm, Fireworks start at 7.30pm
Kingston upon Thames Round Table & Rotary Club Fireworks Display 2019, Friday 8 November 2019
You’ll find a Children’s funfair and rides will be available before the show from 6.30 p.m. A Radio Jackie team will entertain you before the display from 6.30 p.m. Fireworks designed to flow with the music at 8.00 p.m.
Gates open at 6.30pm, Display starts at 8.00pm – (Last entry at 7.45pm)
Tickets purchased in advance before the day: Adults and Children (over 5): £5.00.
Tickets purchased on the display day: Adults and Children (over 5): £6.00.
Cobham Avorians Firework Display, Saturday 2nd November
Approx times: 6pm. Bar and gates open, 6.30pm. Bonfire lit, 7.30pm. Display starts
You’ll find a BBQ, a fully stocked bar selling real ale and mulled wine.
Kempton Park’s Magical Fireworks Spectacular, Saturday 2nd November
Kempton Park is hosting an evening of entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy performers, a DJ and of course a firework display, set to music.
Guildford Firework Fiesta 2019, Stoke Park, Saturday 2 November
Peter Gordon from Eagle Radio will be on-site from 6:30pm and the display will start at 8pm.
Entry by donation of £5 per person or £10 for a family
Woking Fireworks, Saturday 2 November
Woking Park will be hosting this year’s “Woking Fireworks Extravaganza”. The spectacular firework display is considered to be one of the best firework displays in the South East, and one of the most popular events held in Woking. Well-known Eagle Radio DJ Adam Morris will rock the crowd during the big build-up to the display.
