Christmas is fast approaching and I don’t know about your little ones but mine can’t wait!
Last year we missed our opportunity for the girl’s to see Father Christmas, so this year I am getting more organised and have been working out where we can see him and thought I would share some of the Christmas themed events that are happening in Surrey and where you can see Father Christmas himself. Lots of these events do get fully booked, so be sure to find the one you like the look of and book quickly.
1) Christmas at Hatchlands Park
Hatchlands Park is a National Trust property and this year they have lots on for families throughout December.
A first this year is the arrival of a beautiful Christmas carousel, one of the most iconic fairground rides of all time. It’s £3 per ride on selected dates, (1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 December, 11am-3pm).
They are also having a Meet Father Christmas on Saturdays (1st, 8th, 22nd) and Sunday (2nd, 9th, 23th) at 11am-3pm. You will need to book a timed slot to receive your present. On 15 & 16 December, his lovely wife Mrs Christmas will be meeting children instead, so book in with her on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December, 11am-3pm. Both £5 per child.
You can also book to join in with Family Christmas Carols on Sunday 16 December, 12pm-1pm and 2pm-3pm. Adults £8, Child £4, Family £20 (2 adults, 2 children).
Or finally, follow the Children’s trail Saturday 1 December until Sunday 6 January (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), 10am-4pm

Wrap up warm and head out into the garden for a walk with the family.
