The best chocolate brownie

chocolate brownie recipe

One of mine and Amelie’s favourite things to do is bake. We bake biscuits, cakes and most recently brownie!

Brownie is the new favourite for her and I am pretty sure she is now a massive chocolate fan!

The recipe we use is something I have adapted from a few different recipes and makes two cake tins worth of brownie, which is perfect if you need it for sharing or if you’re having guests but if you need less just halve the ingredients.

  • 140g/5oz dark chocolate
  • 225g/8oz butter
  • 5 free-range eggs
  • 450g/1lb caster sugar
  • 110g/4oz plain flour
  • 55g/2oz cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pink edible glitter or hundreds and thousands (whatever your toddler wants to decorate it with)!!

What to do

All that’s left to do is to let your toddler decorate it (in Amelie’s case add pink sprinkles) and then enjoy!
