My husband is hard to buy gifts for. When his birthday, Christmas or our anniversary come round I panic weeks in advance about what to get him.
This year I was lucky enough to meet up with a fellow Surrey Mummy who also let on that she had just started a business, In the box gifts.
In the box gifts is a company that supplies thoughtful gift packages with products from small to medium independent businesses for life’s most important milestones.
After meeting Laura, the owner of ‘In the box gifts’ I had a little nosey at her business and on finding some of her fathers day gift ideas I realised she had done the impossible task for me – she had sorted a present for the guy that is un-buyable for! Hooray.
So what did we get the man in our life – a wonderfully curated hamper! In The Box Gifts put us together a bespoke hamper that (with a little direction from me on his likes) suited him perfectly.
This was the hamper they put together for us…
Inside there were so many amazing goodies for him to find. There was a mix of sweet treats, BBQ inspiration, an apron, coffee, a ‘best Dad’ mug and a shaving set.
It was beautifully packaged and looked really impressive. My husband is a designer so has an eye for style and we both love small independent retailers so we both were really impressed with the quality and the look of all of the gifts. I love that In The Box Gifts can either send you a ready made gift box or you can put together your own. It makes it bespoke, personalised and very special for the recipient.
My personal favourite in the box was the ‘No rest for the with kid’ bag which I might have stolen to be a laptop bag for me (sorry long suffering husband)…! And what did their Daddy like the best? Well as you might have guessed we don’t get much rest with our kids so the coffee was well appreciated but he loved the BBQ book and accessories especially for these summer months. I am expecting good burgers on the BBQ from now on.
So thank you In The Box Gifts for saving me this time. Speak to you at Christmas!!
Do you find it hard to buy for someone special? How do you find them a present?
