We are off to Cornwall this weekend with my family to a lovely hotel, Watergate Bay. There is lots for everyone to do there; swimming, a spa, a gym, the beach, great food and drink and a kids club! Amelie is particularly excited to go on holiday with her cousin, it’ll be lovely for her to have a play mate.
I’ll be blogging and vlogging about our trip but before we go I thought I would share some of the things I have found for the girls for our trip…
Swimming costumes: JoJo Maman Bebe
I love these these swimming costumes from JoJo Maman Bebe. They have a built in nappy which is such a good idea as the swim ones always stick out underneath costumes. I will probably still use an extra swim nappy for Evie just in case but for Amelie who is close to potty training and probably wouldn’t go in the pool this will mean a much easier change for her and me!
They also look so cute, if you follow me on Instagram or have seen any of my ‘what the girls wore this week‘ posts you’ll know I love a matching outfit.
Swimming wetsuit: JoJo Maman Bebe
This will be the first time Evie goes swimming and I remember Amelie got really cold when we first took her so I bought Evie this little wet suit, again from JoJo Maman Bebe, to try and keep her a bit warmer in the pool. I doubt she’ll be in for long but for the few moments she is in I hope this helps.
Towelling hoodies: Next
I always find that when Amelie gets out of the pool she’s freezing and you want to wrap her up straight away. This means you need two towels, so I thought I would try this hooded towelling top as a first layer when she gets out, we can then get her to the changing room to get dry and dressed. Once again I have gone for spots!
Wellies: John Lewis, All in one suits: Next, Hats: Baby Gap
I love these wellies from John Lewis. Watergate Bay is right on the beach so we are hoping for dry weather so we can take the girls onto the beach… As its only March they’ll be in their all in one suits so a good pair of wellies and a warm hat are essential.
And some new outfits for the girls…
Top: Next, Shorts: Next
I love these little shorts and top combos which I’ll team with a pair of cream tights for both of them. We’ll be having leisurely breakfasts and lunch (that’s what we’re hoping for anyway) so its always nice to have some cute little outfits for the girls. I’m loving the flower embroidery on both of these tops which definitely seems to be popular at the moment.
We’ll update you on our travels next week.
