#mummyfriendpictures round up 1

February 24, 2017

If you saw my original blog post (click here for it) you’ll know that I have been really trying to get more pictures of the girls and I that aren’t selfies.

As much as selfies are nice, there is something more special about someone taking a picture of you and your children – I think it’s more of a moment in time capture and for me they always trigger more memories of that moment.

I nag my husband all the time to take pictures of us but he’s only with us two days a week whereas I always see my Mummy friends so I have tasked them with trying to capture more of me and the girls.

Here is how I have got on recently…

And I’ve also been trying to get pictures of my mummy friends and their little ones. Here’s one I managed to capture of my sister and her daughter while they were here.

Thanks to @hannahfwallace and @imwreckedmother for joining in it was lovely to see your #mummyfriendpictures both beautiful pictures.

This is so lovely! I think it’s hugely important for us mums to be in more photos, both with and for our children, and I really love the idea behind this of mummy friends acting as photographers for each other. x
