![[AD] “Hey Google, what day is it?” Genuine real life question I’ve asked Google since the Lenovo Smart Display with the Google Assistant came into our lives a few weeks ago (Mum life tiredness is real). I was a little sceptical of its uses if I’m honest, I mean, I have a phone in my hand most of the time - why do I need a voice controlled tablet? Well I can tell you I’m hooked and Google helps me with all of those tasks I otherwise forget in busy Mum life. 🙌🏻❤️
Some uses we’ve found...
*rushing in the morning, milkshake is on the tv (hence no news or weather for me), so google gets asked what the weather will do (she always forecasts rain at 8.45am and 3pm obviously) and tells me the news of the day. Means we can plan wellies for the school run and I know what’s going on in the world. *checking my diary so I knew that today was Christmas jumper day today ✨
*cooking. No more flour on the phone, she talks me through recipes 🙌🏻 *shes reminded me of my love for Michael Buble, I mean I love the radio but there is something fun about finding your old favourite songs again. *Amelie’s tried to take her over for ‘hey oogle show me princesses, unicorns etc’
I am pretty sure we haven’t used it for everything we could right now but I love our smart tablet so much.

![[AD] Feeling all festive... 🎄
Nearly two weeks until Christmas everyone (half of me is thinking it couldn’t come sooner the other panicking as I’m not organised)... but I’m enjoying all the festive fun in the run up though.
On Saturday we went to Elf school at @theheartshopping in Walton. They always put on amazing events (for free) for little ones and we’re always impressed. Amelie got to decorate a mug, wrap it, dress as an Elf and have her face (well, hand) painted. [swipe for more]
They’ll be running more in 2019 so we’ll be sure to let you know when as they’re fab for the kids!
