Beach weather is just perfect, but how many times a year do we really get to say that we’re honestly going to have beach weather? It doesn’t come around that often, but for some reason, the beach weather is really here to stay at the minute. We’re surrounded by blue skies and beaming sun, and this weekend, everyone will be flocking to the seaside. Whilst it might sound like a nightmare due to the crowds, there’s nothing better than getting a bit of fresh sea breeze mixed in. In fact, whilst you’re at it, you might as well make a little holiday from it and stay a few nights if money will allow. So, here are some of the best beach destination we think you should head to if you’re looking for a little break whilst this weather lasts!
Devon is a beautiful place to visit if you’re looking for an all round experience. It does have a couple of great beaches, but venture in land a bit and you will find some lovely towns filled with plenty of places to eat and drink. There are of course, lovely places to stay as well. Devon family holiday parks are definitely not few and far between, and you can find something that will suit all of your needs. Whether you would prefer to be closer to the beach, or whether you would prefer to be a bit more inland, it really does have it all. The main thing to remember is that this is a busy time of year, especially with the weather being as hot as it is. However, if you’re going to go at this time of year, all of the main attractions will be open, and you definitely won’t fall short of things to do.
Newquay also has some pretty amazing beaches. In terms of beaches that are serene, newquay is probably going to win. Fistral beach is one of the best beaches that you can go to. It’s perfect for surfing, or just relaxing on the sand dunes when you want to soak up some sun. You’ve got the zoo as well, which proves very popular with families, as well as lovely little cobbled streets to explore. You can either treat yourself to a Cornish pasty, or a bit of Cornwall ice cream. You won’t find yourself bored here, but you definitely will find that you come away from the whole ordeal much more relaxed.
Chichester has the famous beach of West Wittering. It’s a lovely stretch of beach that attracts thousands of people through the summer. The sand is so light and fine, and the sea is often lovely and blue. If you shut out everything around you, it can often feel as though you’re in a different country! Chichester still has plenty to do, but not as much as the other two options would. It’s all about relaxation and rejuvenation if you’re coming here.
We hope we have listed at least one place you like the sound of, but whatever you do, just make sure you enjoy the sun.
