Do your little ones love Peppa Pig? Mine absolutely love Peppa and family. Amelie at three and a half has been a Peppa fan for years and Evie at 18 months is just starting to enjoy the stories. If yours are fans like my two are I can guarantee a trip to Peppa Pig World will be something they talk about for months after!
We’ve taken the girls to Peppa Pig World twice before, but the last time was about a year ago so Evie was too young to appreciate it, so when we were invited to Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World to the Grand Preview Event I couldn’t say no! I drafted my Mum in as a second pair of hands and we made the trip to near Southampton from Surrey.
We already knew we loved Peppa Pig World so we were excited to see the two new rides on offer.
We arrived at about 10 am and immediately went to the Grand Preview area. The new area isn’t just two rides, there are beautifully set up picnic areas, a cafe and lots of Peppa pigs friends to look at – Mr Bull and his digger a firm favourite with my girls.
The first ride Amelie and I tried was Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club. It’s a gentle ride for four on a sailing boat which spins very slowly. As you sail around the river there is lots to look at; the Castle, Peppa Pig figures and the other boats! Amelie absolutely loved this ride, there was so much to see and she spent the ride grinning!
The second new ride was The Queens Flying Coach Ride, another gentle ride that would be good for all ages. We took my Mum and Evie on this one and we all loved the views of the park from this ride. This would be a great first ride as Amelie planned her route around the park from the monorail.
We all really enjoyed the new rides, there was enough for Amelie to look at and they were slow enough for Evie to enjoy as well!
After the fun on the new rides, we headed into the rest of Peppa Pig World to explore and tick off Amelie’s list of rides she wanted to go on.
Evie was ready for a play so my Mum took her to the amazing playground complete with slides, swings, a splash pad and little houses. Amelie and I went off to queue for her chosen rides, we particularly enjoyed driving Daddy Pigs car, sailing in more boats and then went in and out of Peppa Pigs house more than once!
We were very lucky to be able to meet Peppa Pig, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig and a couple of other friends. This was a real highlight for Amelie who has never met the characters before.
We had a lovely lunch on one of the many picnic tables and we have always been so impressed with the facilities here, everything is super clean, high chairs are always around and the staff can’t do enough to help with milk warming etc.
As Peppa Pig World is situated within the larger Paultons Park we always love having a walk around. You can find animals (the girls loved seeing the penguins), faster rides for older kids and a lovely old-fashioned carousel. There is also a new area called Little Africa where children can see giant rats, meerkats and hedgehogs.
We had a wonderful morning and both girls were so exhausted from the fun they fell asleep almost immediately for the trip back to Surrey.
Thanks to Paultons Park for inviting us. We had a wonderful day and even my Mum enjoyed it!
*A big thanks to Peppa Pig World for inviting us to your Grand Preview Event*
