I have been lucky enough to have been invited to a few press events for Spring Summer 2018 ranges and wanted to share some of the lovely pieces that will be landing in stores early next year and some of the trends I have seen emerging.
Pom poms were huge this year and it doesn’t look like that trend is going anywhere next year. These are the favourites pieces I have seen so far…
This featured in both ranges for both girls and boys. I love the striped pieces and the reds coming through. Red isn’t a colour I dress the girls in that often, but love these pretty dresses.
All the pastels
You may have noticed I have a thing for pastels so of course I have slightly expanded this section to include a gorgeous changing bag and pram from the Mothercare range. Pastels featured heavily from both brands and the dusky pinks will be stunning in the Spring.
I love demin on the girls, especially dungarees or pinafore dresses and it seems SS 18 won’t disappoint with gorgeous ranges from both Mothercare and Catalan in demin.
Bold & fun prints
I was going to call this ‘revival of the 80’s’ and actually I do think it is from Matalan. Check out the purple coat!! This is Amelie’s dream coat.
I am loving the bolder prints, block colours and patterns in these ranges. I think they’ll look fab in the Summer.
I love this range of floral and yellow prints. I almost can’t wait for Spring to get the girls in these floaty dresses.
Whats your favourite pieces from these collections?
