Sunday round up: 10 essential summer holiday links

July 30, 2017
surrey mama sunday round up

Welcome to my first Sunday round up post. As I blogger and vlogger not only do I create content I also really love to read other peoples blogs and watch their vlogs, it’s what I did before I started Surrey Mama and it still brings me so much inspiration.

There is SO much amazing stuff out there I thought I would start sharing my favourites with you, with a set theme every week.

I have read and watched so much this week on plans for the summer holidays, summer holiday bucket lists and activities for little ones I couldn’t not start with this theme, so to kick off my weekly round ups here are my favourite blogs and vlogs covering activities/plans for the summer holidays.

My favourite blog posts this week

To kick off here are four lovely posts from bloggers on plans for the summer holidays. If you’re in Hertfordshire or close – check out Little B & me’s post…

Winettes – Summer bucket list

Lucy at home – Stay at home activities for the kids

Tea or wine – Cheap summer holiday activities

Teamstein – Summer holiday activities and wishes

Little B and me – Hertfordshire summer holiday activities

I am really keen to ensure Amelie is still learning a little bit over the holidays, she also really enjoys it and asks to draw, write letters so I thought this blog was great for holiday learning ideas…

Rainbows are too beautiful – Online sites for learning

My favourite videos this week

I love seeing what other Mama’s have planned for the summer, these videos from Alex and Sian are brilliant for inspiration…

As much as it is nice to have lots of plans sometimes it isn’t practical to go out everyday. I have to entertain a toddler and a baby so for rainy days I love seeing inspiration of how other Mama’s entertain their little ones…

And if you are going on holiday I love this vlog from Kerry on what to take in your carry on /suitcases.

And finally from me…

If you live in Surrey and are looking for things to do over the holidays check out my post with some ideas here.

The weather has been a little odd recently – anyone feel like its Autumn? Anyway, here are my top rainy day activities...

My Sunday round up will be back next week,

Sarah x

Ahh this is SO helpful – thank you! I’ve not been joining in with regular linkies the same as I’m just too busy with the kids but some of these are definitely relevant to posts I have scheduled, thank you so much!

Having Amelia write letters is such a beautiful idea to keep her learning through the summer.
