I am not entirely sure where 4 months has gone… time seems to speed up when you have a children, have two and years fly. Evie is turning into such a little cutie (if I do say so myself). She absolutely idolises her sister and everything she does, it’s really wonderful to watch.
Hot off the press… as I publish this she has just tried to roll so looks like things are getting exciting (and I need to stop leaving her on the bed/sofa)!!
Now you can
You were desperately trying last month but now you can hold almost any toy. You are starting to get some really good hand eye coordination (even if you go cross eyed when you try).
You try and catch our attention with noises that sound like ‘boo’ and blow bubbles. When Amelie is talking to us you start making noises as if to say ‘hello, I’m here as wel let me join in’. We have so many more little chats together, you really listen to me and try and ‘talk’ back.
Ridiculously and maybe not surprisingly you love Peppa Pig!! You almost fell off your Daddy’s lap this morning trying to look at the iPad with Peppa Pig on it!
Your favourite toys are
Bath toys – your bath is definitely your favourite thing and you love the black and white zebra mirror we have. You also like the brightly coloured alphabet bath toys Amelie plays with.
You’re a big fan of your lamaze Unicorn and a Tinylove book I found you – they come everywhere with us! Sophie the Giraffe, and your Nuby teether are also bit hits as your teeth are definitely starting to move around. A rain maker is always a favourite with most babies and you’re no exception.
You like to
Smile and giggle. You really are the happiest, most chilled out baby. Everyone comments on it and I am so lucky to have such a happy little girl. You always get left when I have to go and do something and when I come back you have the best smiles for me, it brightens my day.
You also love to play with your sister. You give her the biggest smiles when she sings, holds your hand or blows raspberries on your tummy.
What we have done
You’ve been all the way down to Dorset again to see Nanny & Grandad just with Mummy. We had to stop at a petrol station to feed you and then stop again to change your nappy in a lay by but we made it (even if Mummy nearly cried at various points)! You love your Nanny & Grandad, especially Grandad – you have the biggest smiles for him.
You’ve met lots more baby friends which you love, you are so intrigued to see other little ones that I feel guilty we don’t do it more!
